Main Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver cross-functional, end to end complex innovation initiatives contributing to sales growth in line with the Company innovation ambition.

  • Manage process improvement and support initiatives across categories and project types (innovation, optimization, sustainability), primarily focused on those that have an impact on brand/ consumer with commercial value.

Key Results/Accountabilities

  • Define and execute the project strategy in alignment with the functional partners.

  • Lead cross functional Project Teams.

  • Deliver critical aspects of each project on time: scope, schedules, risks mitigation, budget & resources; Provides Project Reporting and KPIs as required.

  • Lead kick off, workshops and regular meetings to effective project execution.

  • Structures team discussions and drive timely decision making within the team.

  • Represent the project team in global/regional governance and project/portfolio reviews.

  • Proactively communicate project status to key stakeholders, enters key information into tracking systems on time, summarize performance/risks.

  • Responsible to maintain Project- and Portfolio-Management-Systems: data entry, updating and accuracy.

  • Conducts after action reviews and continues process improvements.

  • Assess organizational capabilities and team mindset driving improvement to the way we work cross functional. Deliver project execution improvements.

  • Cross functional project teams with local and/or regional and/or global project representative(s) from support functions (Regulatory, Medical, Manufacturing & Supply Chain, Marketing, CMI, Finance, Legal, Science hub, Business Development as needed).

  • Portfolio Management local and globa.l

  • PM Community for PM Standards and best practices.

  • Project Governance and Portfolio Management Team.

  • Regional Science Innovation Head and Team.

  • R&D Team incl. Open Innovation.

  • Local Innovation Lead (Growth Hub) & Brand Leads.

  • External Partnering.

About You

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree.

  • Master's Degree (preferred).

  • Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification (preferred).

Required knowledge and/or experience

  • 8+ years of experience in project management and innovation.

  • Experience in regulated environment: Pharma, OTC, Cosmetics, Consumer Health, Food Supplements.

  • Experience in NDA and 510 (K) related projects.

  • Understanding of various functions and steps related to innovation process.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.

  • Experience in planning and executing process improvement initiatives.

  • Strong analytical skills: possess the ability to proactively analyze problems, identify key issues, develop strategic and tactical solutions, and design metrics to measure business impact.

  • Ability to deal with complex situations finding a feasible solution.

  • Experience in leading cross functional teams.

  • Ability to deal with a decentralized and complex environment.

  • Ability to interact with Senior Leaders.

  • Agile methodologies and lean start-up approach (preferred).

  • Manufacturing, R&D or Regulatory experience (preferred).

  • Entrepreneurial Mindset.
