Operate asphalt milling machine (Wirtgen 210) - Basic asphalt knowledge including milling, paving, striping, and ability to operate equipment - Observe milling machine operation and adjust controls to ensure conformance with specified tolerance. - Inspect, clean, maintain, and repair equipment, using machines' hand tools, or report malfunctions to supervisors. - Remove workpieces from machines, and check to ensure that they conform to specifications, using measuring instruments such as microscopes, gauges, calipers, and micrometers. - Must work quickly, productively, and safely to meet production goals as outlined by the Project Manager. - Must be an advocate of safety and follow safety policies and procedures. - Actively participate in job-site and safety meetings and all Company related training. - Must partner with other crew members and perform additional tasks of other positions as instructed by the crew foreman and/or upper management to ensure daily schedules are met. - Must always maintain a courteous and professional manner with supervisors, co-workers, customers, and the public. -Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to be insured, (cannot have a DUI within the last 5 years). -Prefer 2 years experience operating a milling machine, but not required. -Travel is necessary.
