Program Overview: Jail-Based Behavior Services The Jail-Based Behavior Service (JBBS) Program is a state-funded program and is a collaboration between North Range Behavioral Health and Weld County Jail. JBBS is designed to provide treatment for incarcerated individuals whose offenses are due to or influenced by substances or mental health challenges, or a combination of both.

Sign-On Bonus Available Licensed Clinicians $7,000.00 Unlicensed Clinicians $5,000.00

Salary Placements will vary and may be above the starting wage based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, education, and licensure. Salary placements will generally occur between the starting wage and the midpoint of the salary range.

Employees may be eligible for additional pay based on program, evening, night, weekend, or holiday work. Bilingual pay may be available upon successful passing of language validation testing.

Mental Health Clinician Work as a member of the Jail Based Behavior Service (JBBS) team in collaboration with the Weld County Jail, local providers, community agencies, and program participants to provide ongoing support and eliminate fragmentation, duplication, or gaps in care and treatments. Enhances the quality of inmate care coordination from within the jail environment and maintains involvement through an individual's release from incarceration to community-based services. Performs behavioral health consultation, screening, short-term targeted interventions, and case management functions dedicated to transitional care and a seamless re-entry into treatment services in the community.

Position Summary: With a Collaborative, Customer First, and Compassionate approach, Mental Health Clinicians will: Embrace the North Range Behavioral Health Mission Statement - Provide compassionate, comprehensive care for people who face mental health and addiction challenges. Provide person-centered assessment, goal planning, and treatment for mental health and/or substance use issues. Provide screening, intakes, and assessments of clients utilizing required instruments and formats within appropriate timelines.
