Description We are in search of an Intake Coordinator. The position is located in Jacksonville, Florida and falls within the healthcare industry. The role involves administrative tasks related to patient onboarding, insurance review, and coordination with different healthcare teams. This role offers a contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Onboard new patients by collecting and processing necessary information

• Liaise with the central benefits verification team to send new patients and review their responses

• Gather necessary documents from the pharmacy and nursing departments to help determine if the patient is a candidate for home infusion

• Perform welcome calls to patients and ensure a smooth transition into our healthcare system

• Coordinate with the pharmacy and nursing teams to manage the start of care for new patients

• Handle inbound and outbound calls professionally to manage requests for services from providers/members

• Provide information on available network services and transfer members to clinical staff as appropriate

• Process incoming referrals efficiently and accurately

• Work in a team of intake coordinators, sharing responsibilities and supporting each other in daily tasks

• Use your knowledge of healthcare, insurance, and related skills such as documentation review and onboarding to perform your role effectively. Requirements • Proficiency in handling inbound and outbound calls, providing professional and efficient customer service.

• Experience with insurance matters, particularly within the healthcare sector, including knowledge of TRICARE and HealthCare.gov.

• Strong skills in documentation and review, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.

• Familiarity with onboarding procedures and benefit functions, capable of guiding new employees through the process.

• Experience in workstation support, providing assistance in technical issues and ensuring a smooth workflow.

• Knowledge of clinical trial operations, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industries.

• Ability to conduct thorough verification processes, including referrals and other relevant checks.

• Proficiency in R Code, demonstrating strong analytical skills.

• Experience or knowledge in the pharmacy sector, including understanding of infusion therapies.

• Familiarity with offshore operations and network services, capable of coordinating with international teams.

• Experience in a nursing environment and triage procedures, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in the use of NIS (Network Information System), demonstrating strong IT skills.
