Internal Communications Manager

Opportunity
Reporting to the VP Human Resources (Global Supply Chain & Operations), the Communications Manager is responsible for strategizing and driving internal communications to increase storytelling within the K&B Group Supply Chain & Operations. They create the strategy and execute storytelling for three areas: K&B Group Operations Leadership Team, People Leaders and All-Associates. They serve as a leader, contributor, and counselor to the business in creating and implementing effective communication initiatives aligned with the K&B Group Supply Chain & Operations direction and vision. Our ideal candidate will be a strong and creative writer, technically skilled, highly motivated, and be an enthusiastic communicator who is passionate about creating meaningful associate connections. This important role will ensure effective and consistent communications.
Specific Responsibilities
Responsible for developing and implementing the internal communications strategy for K&B Group Supply Chain & Operations, working in collaboration with the K&B Group Operations Leadership Team
Responsible for creating internal communications content
Manage and facilitate communications projects to drive K&B Group Supply Chain & Operations storytelling goals
Assist the HR team for Global Supply Chain & Operations) with drafting organizational announcements and routing through approvals process, change management communications and other strategic projects
Think creatively to engage Supply Chain & Operations associates and highlight success stories (Leadership video series, roundtables with leadership, “In the Field” segment showcasing associates around the world)
Develop and execute an associate engagement program that reaches all levels of the organization across all businesses and locations; propose ideas on how to increase associate recognition with metrics and measurement
Manage all communications platforms, townhalls, email, KOHLER Now, others as identified
Manage all metrics related to Communications to measure impact to business results
Keep abreast of developments in internal and external communications, as well as the field of Communications.
Skills/Requirements
Bachelor’s degree.
7+ years of experience in corporate communications, marketing, or public relations
Excellent writing and editing skills
Experience with content creation and delivery, including email, newsletters, intranet content, videos, and presentations
Ability to work collaboratively with key stakeholders across the organization
Knowledge of best practices for internal communications
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Experience managing and maintaining internal communication tools is a plus (internal email software, intranet, etc.)
Proficiency in MS Office (specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with keen attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across the organization
Familiarity with graphic design programs (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Canva, etc.) and video editing programs
A passion for internal/employee communications as a key culture-building tool to help boost engagement, inclusion, and belonging
Broad and global knowledge of communications processes, analytics, procedures, best practices, resources, and networks
Able and willing to travel up to 15% as needed
Experience in global manufacturing environment is a plus.

The salary range for this position is $107,650 - $137,150. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
