Position Summary:

The Registered Nurse - PACU independently cares for a sub-specialty group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards.

• Independently cares for a sub-specialty group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards

• Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team

• Is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization

• Also performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned

For this position, we strongly prefer at least 1 year RN experience in PACU or Critical Care.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse license

• BLS certification with the American Red Cross or American Heart Association

• ACLS certification with American Heart Association

• Associates Degree in Nursing

• 1-year critical care experience in an acute care setting
