About the Position:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Deputy County Attorney. In this role, you will perform full performance professional legal duties to expedite the efficient and effective prosecution of criminal cases and the review of county civil matters.

The Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate for the Deputy County Attorney position will possess the following qualifications:

• Juris Doctorate Degree from an accredited law school.
• Prior relevant legal experience.
• Licensed to practice law in the State of Utah.
• Strong working knowledge of legal principles.
• Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to present statements of fact, law, and argument cleverly and logically.
• Proficiency in legal research, writing, and maintaining case materials.
• Effective communication and relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong leadership and organizational behavior management abilities.
• Attention to detail, with excellent grammar, punctuation, and editing skills.

• Proficiency in relevant software applications and legal research tools.

   

Pay & Benefits

Pay Range: $85,066.02-$128,669.99 yearly (Dependent on qualifications and experience. Steps issued in accordance with GC Res #3307)
