Atlantic Health System is Seeking a Nurse Practioner for the Primary Care At Home Program

Atlantic Health System, one of New Jersey's largest non-profit healthcare networks, is currently seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join the Primary Care at Home Program at Internal Medicine Faculty Associates (IMFA) of Morristown. The Nurse Practitioner will visit patients who are 65 years or older in their homes for primary care visits in the Morris County area. This is a great opportunity to make a difference in the community, by caring for those that are homebound. The NP will also see patients in the practice at IMFA in Morristown (ages 18+).

As an NP with the Primary Care at Home team, you will have the support of one other Nurse Practioner, and a CMA dedicated to the Home Care division. The NP is also supported by the IMFA practice, including collaborating physicians. This position is Monday-Friday, with shared after-hours call on a rotating schedule. The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of experience as a practicing nurse practitioner and have a passion for caring for the geriatric population.

  Qualifications

• Master’s degree

• Nurse Practitioner from an accredited program

• Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey

• ACLS and BLS certification required

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a practicing NP preferred

• Primary Care/Geriatric experience preferred

• Strong work ethic and a team player who can work independently
