Posting Summary
Rutgers School of Public Health is seeking a Data Control Clerk II for Center for Public Health Workforce Development located in Somerset, NJ. The Data Control Clerk II will perform a wide variety of support services within the Center for Public Health Workforce Development and assist in the support of various program activities.Duties include:
  • Coordinate gathering of pertinent data necessary for accurate & proper completion of training files. Provides information to course attendees and responds to correspondence and inquires. Maintains appropriate records, course files and logs.
  • Organizes and processes assigned clerical, typing and registration responsibilities.
  • Responsible for registration procedures for Training center.
  • Maintains training course related files from program planning through course delivery and achieving stages of their delivery

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Two (2) years of clerical experience, one (1) year of which shall have experience with PC software packages.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and aptitude for learning other computer skills necessary. '
  • Ability to multitask to meet deadlines; self motivated and work independently.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Written and oral communication skills a plus.
  • Experience with Student Manager registration software preferred.
