| Posting Summary | Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for the Department of Medicine/Division of Infectious Diseases within the New Jersey Medical School. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner is a licensed independent practitioner who works collaboratively with the care team to provide psychiatric, and substance use services to persons living with or affected by HIV at the Infectious Disease Practice in accordance with State and Federal rules and regulations, nursing practice standards of care, clinical and DHHS guidelines. Responsibilities include but are not limited to assessment and diagnosis, formulation of treatment plans, medication management, letters in support of gender-affirming treatment, patient education, and referrals for continuity of care, all in accordance with statutes, regulations and protocols regulating the profession. Additionally, the APN will be responsible for assisting clinic operations, serve as a key mental health resource for medical and social service staff in the clinic, and maintain flexibility to work some evening hours as needed.Among the key duties of this position are the following:

Immunization Requirements
