This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Provides assistance in teaching and leading different classes and activities that may include, leading outdoor academic classes using a science based curriculum, teambuilding, and recreational activities such as boating, archery, orienteering and campfires.Interns will assist in preparing program areas and instruct participants in all classes assigned. Most importantly, provide an enjoyable experience to participants while learning professional skills. Recreational Program Interns are enthusiastic leaders who have a desire to inspire a love and knowledge of the outdoors in both youth and adults.
