Description We are looking for a dedicated Event Check-In Coordinator to join our team. This role is based in Savannah, Georgia and involves working in the fast-paced industry of food and drink festivals. As an Event Check-In Coordinator, you will be the main point of contact for guests during check-in, ensuring smooth operations and excellent customer service throughout the event. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize provided technology to manage event check-ins, including ticket scanning and guest registration.

• Ensure efficient processing of attendees within the box office area.

• Greet guests warmly and provide assistance as needed during the check-in process.

• Collaborate with on-site staff to uphold quality standards and streamline operations.

• Maintain a professional demeanor at all times, positively representing the company.

• Utilize skills in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word to manage timelines and organize files.

• Perform data entry tasks and manage shipping functions as required.

• Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to credit accounts.

• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments.

• Maintain accurate customer credit records and process customer credit applications efficiently. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role or relevant field

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

• Demonstrated ability to manage timelines efficiently

• Highly skilled in data entry tasks with high attention to detail

• Excellent customer service skills and ability to handle customer queries effectively

• Proven experience in organizing files, scanning, and shipping functions

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions

• High level of professionalism and work ethic

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
