Description About Our Practice Milliman's Seattle Health Practice serves a wide variety of organizations, including insurance companies, health plans, state and federal agencies, healthcare providers, reinsurance companies, providers, Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs), and employers. The staff consists of 150+ actuarial professionals in addition to healthcare consultants, IT, Administrative, and other non-actuarial staff. In this role, you will: Help plan and lead staff events such as meetings, holiday parties, etc. Maintain an organized and well-stocked office for the Seattle staff Help onboard and orient new hire employees Execute day-to-day administrative tasks, including request management via a ticketing system Assist other team members, staff, and leadership with special projects as needed To be successful in this role, you will have the following qualifications: Professional Qualifications Some college required; bachelor's degree preferred Two to three years of prior administrative experience in a fast-paced, dynamic and collaborative work environment preferred Some event coordination experience is required Intermediate or higher knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook, as well as Adobe Acrobat Must be available to work on-site in our Seattle office and work minimal overtime, as necessary Strong written and verbal communication skills, professional demeanor, adaptable and flexible mindset, and ability to problem solve in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment Personal Qualifications Ability to stand, walk, lift, and move objects weighing up to 25 pounds Visual acuity to prepare, read, and analyze printed and electronic data Preferred Qualifications Adaptable to change: Can flex quickly with changing priorities or tasks, has a growth mindset. Accountability: Takes ownership of their work duties and shows initiative to take on extra tasks as needed, follows through with their commitments. Self-motivated: Proactively seeks out opportunities to improve or learn new skills; proven ability to prioritize tasks and work independently. Team collaboration: Demonstrated success in a team environment with shared goals, builds trusting relationships and is open to feedback. Location This position is based out of the Milliman office in Seattle, WA. Applicants must be willing to work onsite full-time. Compensation The hourly range is $25.00 to $41.00 , depending on a combination of factors, including but not limited to education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, location, etc. If overall experience is less than 2 years the range would be $25.00 to $37.00; for experience of greater than 2 years, the range would be $28.00 to $41.00.
