Summary: This is a non-float, PRN position assigned to 1 hospital

Serves as a member of the Cardiology Team, engaged in the conduct and performance of Cardiac Ultrasound / Doppler diagnostic testing. This team member is required to assist the physician and other related healthcare professionals in these technical areas and is responsible for all aspects of clinical support. Functions during procedures with minimal supervision.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

• Required - Technical Diploma or Associate's - Sonography/Cardiovascular Technology/Ultrasound program

Credentials:

• Required - BLS (Basic Life Support); Required - RDCS or RCS certification within 1 year

Experience:

• No experience required if education requirement is met

• Preferred - 1 Year - Echocardiology
