Overview

Family Practice - Chatham, part of Atlantic Medical Group, is currently seeking an experienced CMA to join our clinical team.

Responsibilities

  • The CMA will manage patient flow, room patients, take vital signs and record in an EMR, perform phlebotomy, administer injections, conduct basic testings such as EKG, hearing and vision, and spirometry, register and schedule patients in a practice management system, obtain prior authorizations, and other duties typical of a physician practice.

Qualifications

Education:

  • High School Diploma required

  • Graduate of a CAAHEP or ABHES accredited Medical Assistant program preferred

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • MA certification through AAMA, AMCA, AMT, NCCT, or NHA required

  • Post externship MA experience preferred

  • EMR experience desired

  • Must be able to multi task well and communicate effectively with patients and your team
