Atlantic Health System Cook I in Summit, New Jersey


Overlook Medical Center, a member of the prestigious Atlantic Health System, is seeking a Per Diem Cook. Hours vary, including every other weekend.


  • Prepare hot and cold meals for patient feeding, retail outlets and special events.

  • Responsible for sanitation and regulatory compliance.

  • Works in the main kitchen or in other areas for exhibition cooking.


  • Must have a good command of culinary fundamentals.

  • Work in an area with extreme temperatures, standing for long periods of time, stooping and walking for long periods of times.

  • Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.


  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Associates degree in culinary arts preferred.

  • ServSafe Certification preferred.
