Amergis Healthcare Staffing is partnered with a much respected facility in Wareham MA who is currently seeking an RN to assist them at their Adult Day Habilitation Center on a full time basis.

Details of the position include:

Location: Wareham, MA

Duration: 13 weeks to start with likelihood of extension

Facility Type: Adult Day Habilitation Center

Openings: Monday-Friday 8a-4p

Start Date: Two weeks from offer

Salary: $52/hr

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

• Working in a day program with residents who have developmental disabilities.

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care

• Performs focused interview to identify specific patients' needs

• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition

• Identifies and prioritizes actions based upon patient care requirements

• Performs interventions according to identified priorities, plan of care, and the clinic policies

• Provides a safe, comfortable and therapeutic patient environment

• Initiates patient and family education

• Documents patient’s response to nursing and other interventions

• Monitors the safety and effectiveness of the environment and equipment

• Administer vaccines or any necessary medications

• Make follow up phone calls to patients

• Inputs information into the computer for tracking per policy/protocol

• Helps stock and maintain cleanliness of Clinic

  QUALIFICATIONS:

• Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practices

• One year experience as a nurse preferred

• One year experience in a clinic or immunization setting preferred.

• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice

• Participation and completion of Amergis' Competency program when applicable

• Current CPR if applicable
