Boeing Canada Winnipeg is seeking a Business Operations Specialist (Associate or Experienced - 12 Month Fixed Term) that will be reporting to the Business Operations Manager, working out of the Winnipeg office.

This role is a 12 Month Fixed Term at Boeing Canada Winnipeg.

The Business Operations Specialist will be responsible for all items relating to production reporting; including collecting, organizing, analyzing and integrating data according to established processes within the management system. The position requires experience collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders to successfully deliver against Program commitments and priorities.

Position Responsibilities:

• Assists in the development and integration of programs, plans, strategies and processes to meet business goals for authorization, such as sourcing strategy for commitment of work, cost imperatives, deployment analysis and impact mitigation.

• Supports the coordination and clarifies the analysis with business partners to validate results and determine scope to meet long range business goals and develop business case.

• Supports the coordination, with direct guidance, of the commitments with internal and external organizations to fulfill strategies.

• Assists more experienced personnel with the identification of risk and opportunity potential, developing mitigation planning and refining the business case.

• Meets with leadership to gain approval.

• Collects, organizes and provides data according to established processes within the management system to maintain status of programs, customer and supplier commitments and compliance.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Winnipeg location.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 2+ years of experience with project management best practices (ex: risk, financial and schedule management)

• Experience in business analysis such as business case assessment, business case analysis, capacity analysis and/or rate analysis

• Experience communicating with and presenting data to senior and/or executive leadership

• Experience using MS Office based applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and MS Project)

• Must be legally able to work in Canada

• Individual must not pose a risk for safeguarding of controlled goods

• Must be eligible to handle US export-controlled data

Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):

• 5+ years of experience with project management best practices (ex: risk, financial and schedule management)

• Knowledge of Boeing Production System (BPS)

• Experience presenting information to all levels of management

• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

• Post-secondary education

• Cross functional experience (production, quality, supplier management)

• Knowledge of business plan and policy development

• Experience executing strategies that support business needs and drive employee engagement

Typical Education and Experience:

Level 2:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience, 7 years' related work experience, etc.).

Level 3:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Additional Information:

This requisition is for a locally hired position in Canada. The employer is Boeing Canada. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada. Benefits and pay are determined by Canada and are not on Boeing US-based payroll. This is not an expatriate assignment.
